| Nov 5 Be A Santa to a Senior at Salisbury Chamber of Commerce |
Home Instead Senior Care is co-sponsoring the annual public service program called Be a Santa to Senior ® which provides holiday presents to lonely or needy seniors in our community. Seniors who would benefit from this program were identified through our collaboration with the local non-profit organizations: MAC Area Agency on Aging, Shore Up - Shady Pines Adult Medical Day Services, and Worcester County: Department of Health, Social Services, and Commission on Aging.
The senior’s Christmas gift wishes will be anonymously displayed on ornaments, and hung on Christmas trees located at our community partners: Apple Discount Drugs (Berlin, Fruitland, and Pecan Square locations), Snow Hill Pharmacy, Salisbury Chamber of Commerce, and the Ocean Pines Recreation & Parks.
Individuals are encouraged to visit our community partners, choose an ornament from their Christmas tree, shop for the gift, wrap it, and return it to the location where you chose the ornament from. Home Instead will deliver the donated gifts to the seniors from December, 14th – 16th.
Please come learn more about this worthy program, and join us in supporting the seniors in our community. |
