The Eastern Shore Area Health Education Center, which works to increase the number of health care providers serving Maryland’s rural Eastern Shore, will hold a grand ribbon-cutting celebration and after-hours mixer celebrating the center’s 25-year anniversary and reintroducing the center to the community. The celebration will take place on Rural Provider Recruitment Day established by Gov. Larry Hogan this year to recognize the Eastern Shore Area Health Education Center’s leadership and efforts to recruit, retain and train health care professionals for employment on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
