Applications and info session available for new Grants for Artists program
MSAC is excited to open applications to its newest program, Grants for Artists, which broadly supports Maryland independent artists’ working and living expenses with $6,000 grants. This program was designed based on extensive public input over the past 18 months, and it is intended to bolster the creative workforce that composes a significant portion of Maryland’s creative and economic activity.
Interested artists are invited to attend a virtual info session covering details of the Grants for Artists program and offering application strategies. The free session is scheduled for Tuesday, January 17, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees must register by clicking here to visit MSAC’s Eventbrite page. A recording will be made publicly available for those who cannot attend the live event.
The Maryland State Arts Council is committed to making sure all Marylanders can access its programs and services. For grant application assistance, please contact the appropriate Program Director. Guests with further accessibility questions or who require accommodations may fill out the Accommodations Request Form or contact the MSAC Office Secretary at msac.commerce@maryland.gov.
