GOLD Seeks Sponsors for Helping Hands for the Holidays

Worcester County GOLD (Giving Other Lives Dignity) is seeking sponsors, volunteers, and donations to assist its Helping Hands for the Holidays Program. Community sponsors can sign-up to sponsor gifts for children and/or vulnerable adults by completing a sponsor form, available on GOLD’s website at www.WorcesterCountyGOLD.org or on Worcester GOLD’s Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/WorcesterGOLD. Please help GOLD to assist families in need by sharing the links on Facebook.
Donations by check can be sent to Worcester County GOLD, 299 Commerce Street, Snow Hill, MD 21863 or made by credit card though GOLD’s website. Due to low overhead costs, 92 cents of every dollar received goes directly to serve our neighbors during times of critical need.
Last year with the generous support of our local community, GOLD provided gifts for 724 children and 68 vulnerable adults in Worcester County who live in poverty and low-income circumstances. With only two employees, GOLD depends heavily on the generosity and support of our caring community to enhance the quality of life of local citizens for whom traditional means of well-being support are not currently available. For questions, email GOLD at WorcesterCountyGOLD@gmail.com or call 410-677-6830.
